About this product

Red Label free-range guinea fowl from Burgundy: gamier than chicken, a long way short of wild bird, and much finer in the grain than either. It is a lean animal, so bard it with bacon or cover it for most of the roast. Supplied oven-ready, and it makes a quietly impressive centrepiece.

Delivered under full cold chain, in insulated box with ice packs, can be left at your door or with building management. Delivery window sent on the day before, delivery team to call before arrival.

Storage & serving

Storage: Keep refrigerated. Previously unfrozen — may be frozen at home
Serving Recommendation: Bard with bacon or cover, then roast at 180°C, 20 minutes per 500g.
Serving size: 400 to 500g whole bird per person
