About this product

A Red Label free-range bird from Burgundy, grown slowly on a diet of at least three-quarters cereals. It is the maize in that diet that turns the skin golden and the fat a deep yellow. Supplied oven-ready. Roast it high and finish it with the juices; slow-grown chicken tastes of something.

Delivered under full cold chain, in insulated box with ice packs, can be left at your door or with building management. Delivery window sent on the day before, delivery team to call before arrival.

Storage & serving

Storage: Keep refrigerated. Previously unfrozen — may be frozen at home
Serving Recommendation: Roast at 200°C for 20 minutes, then 180°C for 20 minutes per 500g. Rest 15 minutes.
Serving size: 400 to 500g whole bird per person
