Packing : one whole goose of 3-3.5kg - Ready to cook

Serving : 6 to 8 people

Cooking recommendation :

  • Roast in the oven at 210°C for 30 minutes
  • Lower the oven temperature to 180°C and cook 15 to 20 minutes per 500g (from 1h30 to 2h20 depending on exact size of the goose). If you stuff the goose, take into account the weight of the goose with the stuffing to calculate your cooking time. 

Cooking tips :

  • Use a fork to check the cooking on the leg area : if the juice is clear, the cooking is done. If you see some red in the juice, it still needs some more cooking.
  • The legs will take longer to cook than the breasts. To make sure both parts are ideally cooking, you can stuff the goose under the skin on the breast area to slow the cooking down.

Thawing tips : place in the fridge for 24 hours
