Green Asparagus from Provence
Reference :
REGULAR SIZE : 1kg green asparagus = around 15 asparagus
Cooking tip : trim the asparagus, then peel the stems.
- Boiled asparagus : 1 to 3 minutes
- Steamed asparagus : 2 to 4 minutes
- Pan fried asparagus : cut the asparagus in 4/5 pieces and cook it in a pan for 3 to 5 minutes
How to keep asparagus fresher : trim the stems (1-3cm) and wrap half of the asparagus (not the spears) into a damp paper towel, before placing it in a sealed food storage bag or air-tight box and in the fridge.
