Caviar nutritional values

Caviar is an egg, it is therefore naturally rich in proteins. Beyond its extraordinary flavors, caviar has exceptional nutritional qualities. It is rich in mineral salts and vitamins (A, E, C, B6) but also in unsaturated fatty acids (omega 3), trace elements and antioxidants. Its content of choline also gives a "anti-hangover" effect (hence a perfect compatibility with vodka).
The caloric value for 100 grams of Oscietra caviar is 250 kcal.

Caviar is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, well known for their benefits in preventing certain cardiovascular diseases (heart attacks and stroke) and aging. They lower the level of bad cholesterol and increase the level of good cholesterol. The consumption of omega 3 may also have preventive effects on dementia and especially Alzheimer's disease.

Caviar is also very good for the skin and many cosmetic brands use caviar oil for their creams (the famous Prairie caviar cream) because it improves the texture and elasticity of the skin.

Caviar has also long been used as a fortifier in Russia. Prescribed oil can be extracted from the patients. For the little story, the son of Tsar Nicholas II hated caviar but he had to eat some for breakfast because of his fragile health. He was given caviar toast with crushed banana every morning.
